Did you know we are "published authors" if we "facebook", "tweet", or do any other social media? Doesn't that make us want to be sure our words, our stories, our thoughts, and our ideas are worth publishing? Doesn’t it make us want to spread the “good news” instead of the “bad news”? Doesn’t it make us want to brighten someone’s day instead of bringing clouds to their day? Doesn’t it make us want to spread a little love around instead of fueling the fires of bitterness, anger and hate?
I heard someone give a talk on social media, and he said that if only people knew what they are doing to themselves when they complain, whine, speak foul language, or they express anger or bitterness on social media. There are eyes of employers, community leaders, and people of influence who are taking a look at what we post, and what they see, may very well determine that job offer or position offer in a project or public arena. Our "good news" or our "bad news" might make a big difference in our "tomorrow"!
It sure does cause me to make sure my words are flavored with an optimistic outlook, love and respect for everyone, and it sure does make me want my words to make a positive difference in someone's life!
And, besides all THAT -- Santa is watching me.....and due to the passing of Mrs. Claus -- he just might want to interview me for her replacement!! LOL!
