If Only It Were So

It's so good to finally get a health warning that is useful!!!

IT INVOLVES SHAMPOO WHEN IT RUNS DOWN YOUR BODY WHEN YOU SHOWER WITH IT. WARNING TO US ALL!!!

Shampoo Warning! I don't know WHY I didn't figure this out sooner! I use shampoo in the shower! When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my whole body, and printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this warning, "FOR EXTRA BODY AND VOLUME."

No wonder I have been gaining weight! Well! I got rid of that shampoo and I am going to start showering with Dawn Dishwashing Soap. Its label reads, "DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE."

Problem solved! If I don't answer the phone, I'll be in the shower!"

I think about all the things we take so seriously, yet are disappointed in the end when after we've tried yet another health regime, another potion for making us look 20 years younger, tried a restaurant that someone said it was the best ever, gone to see a movie recommended by a friend....and so many of those things we've tried....that disappointed us. But, oftentimes.....we DO take the recommendations of friends and we get on a bandwagon with them -- at least for a while.

Here's what we need most in this day and age of so many choices, so many voices and so much desire to do the right thing! Proverbs 4:6-7 gives us the answer: "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will PROTECT YOU; love her, and she will WATCH OVER YOU. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it costs all you have, get understanding."

May God give us His wisdom to protect us, guide us, and give us everything we need to be wise, vigilant and full of knowledge to make the best decisions in all we are facing today AND tomorrow.
