I remember taking this photo at Epiphany Ranch. I am still in awe of such beauty in a sunrise. What a mighty artist is our God! What a declarer of His majesty, beauty, and wonders!
As I did then, and now, seeing those sunshine rays, I think: “And God said…” If ever we needed God's "saids" with clarity, it is in these times. I sense He IS "saying" and we only need to lend an ear.Ears wide open — that’s my desire. I sincerely want to hear God loud and clear when He speaks. I believe this blog is straight from Heaven Central to us earthlings!
No doubt, God is wanting to get through to His rebellious, disobedient, contrary, and ornery kids. He loves us way too much to let us go on like this.
I’m one of those who needs to be reminded of His words. He probably – no, surely – had us in mind when He spoke them the first time.
Let's listen to what our Father is saying. I, with you, want to hear Him and purpose to obey Him with my words AND actions:
🎚 And God said,
"Let there be light," and there was light. Genesis 1:3
🎚 And God said,
“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3
🎚 And God said,
“This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.” John 15:17
🎚 And God said,
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
🎚And God said,
“I will never leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
And, for our upcoming election……
🎚And God said,
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
There you have it! As clear as those sunrays are – God clearly speaks in perfect timing into our not-so-perfect lives.
Isn't it comforting to know that even when we’re acting like ornery kids, God is still speaking, still loving, and still guiding us with His words?
God’s words are timeless, filled with love, and always just what we need. Whether it’s a sunrise, a kind word from a neighbor, or a gentle nudge in our hearts, God is speaking to us.
So, the next time we catch a breathtaking sunrise or feel a gentle breeze, let’s pause, and remember: “And God said…” Let’s tune in, listen closely, and let His words transform our hearts and actions. After all, if God is speaking, we know it is worth hearing!!
