Believe and Receive It

Faith is like a pair of glasses that let us see the future before it happens. It's the ability to believe in something before we actually see it with our eyes.

You know how some folks say, "I'll believe it when I see it"? Well, God flips that right around: "You'll see it when you believe it."

Many things in life must be believed before they can be seen.
Remember the space race? Back in the 1960s, the Soviet Union sent their first cosmonaut into space. After circling the Earth, he came back and declared, "I searched the heavens, and I didn't see God anywhere. Therefore, there is no God." The Communists, being atheists, thought they had scientific proof that God doesn't exist.

But then, along came John Glenn, our American astronaut. He went into space, circled the Earth three times, and upon his return, he said, "I saw God everywhere! I saw His glory in the galaxy, His splendor in the universe, His majesty in the stars."

Jesus said, “Unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Isn't that scripture a treasure? The treasure part is that we suddenly REALLY see what matters most when we welcome God into our lives.

Before we undergo a spiritual transformation, we're too narrow-minded to see the incredible things God is doing all around us. Faith comes before seeing, and that's a fact!

The Apostle Paul wrote: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." — Hebrews 11:1

Think about it: It's faith that drives an architect to design a building, believing it can be done. It's faith that pushes an Olympic athlete to train and compete, confident she can win. It's faith that inspired scientists to send a man to the moon.

This is a universal principle of life. We must believe it before we see it. When we have faith, we start to notice the amazing things God is doing in us, through us, and around us.

Let's take off those disbelieving glasses and start seeing with our spiritual eyes. After all, NOTHING is impossible with God!

So, next time you're waiting for an answer or hoping for a miracle, remember to put on those faith glasses. Believe first, and then watch how God moves in ways you never imagined. Faith isn't about seeing to believe; it's about believing to see. And with God, all things are possible!
