Does PASSION Drive You?

PASSION—it’s more than excitement or enthusiasm. It’s pouring your heart, soul, and energy into something that lights you up. So, let me ask: What are you PASSIONATE about? What gets you out of bed each morning? (And no, “the baby was crying” or “my alarm went off” don’t count!)

Motivational gurus call it our purpose, our “why.” I call it the WOW-Factor, and let me tell you, a personal encounter with God will turbocharge our life like nothing else. When He’s our greatest passion, everything else -- our job, family, hobbies, even cheering for our favorite team -- becomes infused with unstoppable energy.

I’m living proof. Writing over 4,000 blogs (and counting!) isn’t just a habit. It's my PASSION! Fueled by God, I wake up eager to encourage someone new each day. Romans 12:11 says: "Never be lacking in zeal (passion), but keep your spiritual fervor (passion), serving the Lord."

Here’s how to ignite your PASSION:

😙Own Your Life: Live like today might be your last. Spoiler alert: One day, it will be.

😙Expect Good Things: Start each morning believing something amazing will happen. Coffee counts.

😙Flip the Script: Turn life’s lemons into lemonade -- aka gratitude. Yes, even for that traffic jam.

😙Love What You Do: Not feeling it? Take a step toward what you love.

😙Check the Mirror: Remember Michael Jackson's "Man-in-the-Mirror"? Change starts with the person staring back at you.

😙Follow Your Heart: Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Trust Him.
Seek God: Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to lean on His wisdom, not ours. He’ll guide the way.

Life is short, friends. Let’s make it count! Passionate living is contagious, joyful, and oh-so-rewarding. So, let’s dive into each day with purpose and excitement, knowing God’s got big plans in store. On our marks.....get set......GO live with PASSION!
