So why have I blogged so much about love this month? Maybe the better question is -- why wouldn’t I? Why wouldn’t I flood this world with words about the very thing it so desperately needs? Of course, the enemy of our souls would love for us to quit, to grow weary, to get bitter instead of better. But he loses. Every. Single. Time. Because we choose love -- again and again and again.
And not just the easy, feel-good, heart-eyes kind of love. It's the kind of love that shakes the earth. The kind that spans generations. The kind that refuses to be silenced, diluted, or dismissed.
One day, when we stand before our Heavenly Father, He won’t ask, “How many accomplishments did you rack up?” Instead, He will ask, “How much love did you put into what you did?”
Since the beginning of time, the enemy has tried to eradicate love, and yet -- he keeps failing. Love was here first. Love formed this world. Love breathed life into you and me. And love will win in the end.
So today, let’s be radical about love. Let’s live out 1 Corinthians 13, not just as words, but as a mission:
I will be patient.
I will be kind.
I will refuse envy.
I will not be arrogant or rude.
I will not insist on my own way.
I will not keep a record of wrongs.
I will rejoice in truth.
I will bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, endure all things.
MY LOVE WILL NEVER FAIL.
This is how we change the world -- with relentless, unwavering, no-regrets, no-limits LOVE.
So here’s my challenge for all of us: Let's start our day with love. Let's end our day with love. And in between? Pass it on.
I love you and you and you… now go flood the world with LOVE! ❤️❤️Love is the Answer to EVERYTHING❤️❤️
News Flash! This is the last day of February, the month of LOVE. But let’s be clear -- love doesn’t have an expiration date. We don’t pack it away like Christmas decorations, only to bring it out next year. Love is our anthem. Love is our mission. Love is our every-single-day lifestyle.
