This year, Carl and I will be celebrating "the 4th" in Alto, Texas — at Epiphany Ranch, the beloved home of my daughter Staci and her husband Larry. If you’ve ever visited, you know it’s more than a place — it’s a haven. It’s where family and friends gather, where laughter echoes, and where those needing a little hope seem to find a fresh breath of it. Vision is cast there. Encouragement is spoken. And yes, freedom is felt.
But this July, there’s even more to celebrate — the barndominium is almost finished! And let me tell you, it’s not just a structure of metal and wood. It’s a home-in-the-making for hearts that need space to heal, dream, and thrive. It’s a reminder that freedom isn’t just something we salute with fireworks — it’s something we live every day when we know who we are and Whose we are.
Because real freedom? It goes beyond borders and backyard BBQs.
Freedom in Christ means we are no longer bound by fear, shame, or the weight of our past. We are free to live joyfully. To forgive freely. To walk confidently. To celebrate the life we’ve been given with gusto, knowing God has called us to abundant life.
This July, let’s remember that freedom isn’t just about a flag — it’s about a Savior who made a way for every heart to be free.
So whether you’re waving a sparkler or rocking on a front porch with sweet tea in hand, may your July be filled with gratitude, purpose, and the kind of freedom that starts deep in the soul.
This July, let freedom ring — not just in our country, but in our hearts. Christ came to set us free. Let’s live like it! πΊπΈ
