There are moments in life that stop us cold. Yesterday is one of those moments.
The news of Charlie Kirk’s passing feels like a heavy stone in our hearts. A
man of courage, a messenger of truth, a follower of Christ -- his voice has
been silenced on earth, but his song is not over.
Charlie’s life was dedicated to something bigger than himself. He spoke boldly
of Jesus Christ. He championed the values that make America strong. He poured
himself into the next generation with a passion that could not be ignored. His
voice carried truth, and people listened. That’s why he became a target.
It’s hard to grasp how hatred can grow so deep that it destroys life. Yet we
remember this: “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints”
(Psalm 116:15). Charlie is not lost; he is found in the arms of his Savior.
The world feels darker today, but Charlie’s torch still burns. His faith
ignited millions, and now it is our turn to carry the flame. His legacy is not
silence -- it is a call for us to live boldly, love fiercely, and proclaim
God’s peace without fear.
May we rise to take up his mantle. May we fight the good fight -- not in anger
or bitterness, but with boldness to share God’s love. With courage to stand for
truth. With hope that pierces darkness.
Father, comfort the brokenhearted today. Give us courage to live like Charlie
did -- unashamed of Your gospel, unwavering in truth, unrelenting in love. May
we pick up the mantle, carry the light, and let his unfinished song continue
through us. Amen.
Charlie Kirk’s voice may be silent on earth, but his song is unfinished. His
torch of faith and truth now burns in those he inspired. It echoes in each life
he touched. May we join in the chorus.
