A Forever Love

They did it! The knot was tied tight, and I’m thrilled to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Rose — my precious granddaughter Alexia and her beloved Winston. So much joy and jubilation filled our hearts for this precious couple!

How faithfully God answered Alexia's prayers! From the moment Winston Rose entered her world, it was as though heaven whispered, “This one!”

The setting? Perfection. Cedar Springs at Bone Hollow looked like something right out of a southern romance — rustic charm, glowing candles, fall florals, their Bible for guests to write notes in.

The air was filled with laughter, worship, and just the right amount of Tennessee sunshine.

Their story is one of friendship blossoming into forever love. Both studied at the same ministry school — Alexia focused on serving the Lord and where Winston had already graduated. God wove their paths together through mutual friends, and before long, it was obvious heaven had orchestrated this match.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect — a flawless Tennessee sky, a soft breeze brushing through the trees, and a peace that felt like God Himself had leaned in to bless the moment.

The venue, Cedar Springs at Bone Hollow, was pure country elegance. Family and friends gathered from near and far, and the air was thick with joy and anticipation.

The men, in tan suits and balaros, looked sharp and dignified — a handsome crew of rugged charm. The bridesmaids glowed in their rich fall tones, each one radiant in her own unique beauty.

And then — the moment. My precious granddaughter, Alexia, stepped into view. She was breathtaking. Simple yet stunning, she floated down the aisle on her daddy’s arm while her mama, Staci, wiped tears that mirrored my own.

And, there was Winston — steady, smiling, waiting with eyes full of love.

When they spoke their vows, it wasn’t just the joining of two hearts — it was a symphony of answered prayers. God’s fingerprints were everywhere: in every laugh, every embrace, every whispered “I love you.”

I felt that sweet reminder — love doesn’t just unite two people -- it binds families, strengthens faith, and weaves new chapters into the story of God’s goodness.

I sat there thinking, "Lord, You did it again — You write the best love stories!"

And so, they became one. Winston and Alexia Rose. May their love bloom with grace, their laughter echo through the years, and their home be filled with joy that never fades.

And as for me? I just gained another grandson -- Winston -- and he already fits perfect in my men-pack!

Tonight, I’ll probably tear up again (that’s what Nanas do), but they’ll be tears of gratitude — for answered prayers, for God’s goodness, and for the legacy of love being passed to another generation.

From this day forward, may Winston and Alexia’s love shine bright, their faith stand firm, and their laughter echo through the years.
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Rose! 🌹🌹
