Miracles in our Midst

I don’t want this blog to alienate anyone who isn’t on the same page as us. We are all children of God. That is what matters most.

I am married to an unrelenting, bold, determined and true patriot. He is all about the “land of the free and the home of the brave”. He served our Country in the army. He was a delegate in the Texas state convention in May. He is a regular attender at Republican Party events. He is a true conservative.

Via television, we watched the events unfold at the Republican National Convention on Monday. We saw President Trump’s selection for Vice President, J.D. Vance. The bonus was to see President Trump – alive and well.

The atmosphere was charged with energy. Of course, it was – we saw a miracle take place last Saturday when a bullet aimed at President Trump, missed him. Of course, there was energy that comes from heartfelt gratitude to our Sovereign and Holy God. Miracles happen and I pray that we remember God is in control.

This miracle serves as a powerful testament to the unseen protections and divine interventions that guard us, even when we are unaware. And that miracle wasn’t just about one man's safety. It symbolizes the potential for peace in our Country. It reminds us that, despite our differences, there is a Greater Force at work, guiding us toward unity, peace and understanding.

Most importantly, we were reminded of the potential to have love and respect for each other – no matter our party affiliation. It's easy to forget that we can love one another, even when we disagree. Shouldn’t we always purpose to live where differing opinions can coexist without hatred and bitterness?

As we move forward to the Democratic Convention next month, may we hold onto the spirit of unity and mutual respect. Love is not a weakness, but a strength that binds us together. It's through love and understanding that we can bridge the gaps between us and build a better future for all.

In these times of division, let’s be bright lights of hope and love. Let’s celebrate the miracles, big and small, that remind us of our shared humanity. And let’s continue to believe that, together, we can create a world where love triumphs over discord.
